Everett Eugene Gordon age 83, of Independence, Missouri, passed away, Saturday, January 25th, 2020 at his home. Graveside services will be held 2:30PM, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO. The family suggests memorial contributions to Fair Haven Children's Home, Stafford, MO and may be left in care of the funeral home. Everett was born August 8, 1936 in Independence, Missouri the son of Everett and Icel (Lusso) Gordon.  He worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service.  Everett was a US Marine Corp Veteran.

Mr. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, David.

He is survived by his wife, Rozella, of 62 years; two siblings, Melvin and Sandra; three sons, Kevin (Tina), Paul (Jeannie), and Gregg (Michelle); nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, MO.
