Evelyn Faye Severson age 77, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 5, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with interment in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Evelyn was born in Burlington Junction, Missouri the daughter of James and Martha (Partrige) Finter. She was married to Richard L. Severson on September 2, 1955 in Maryville, Missouri. Evelyn attended Northwest Missouri State and Central Missouri State University where she obtained her Vocational Business Degree and her Master's Degree. She taught Vocational Business for thirteen years before retiring. Evelyn was a member of Missouri State Teacher's Association, the N.E.A. and the Clinton Christian Church.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Severson of the home; three sons, Eddie Severson of Clinton, Dennis Severson of Bixby, Oklahoma and Barry Severson and wife, Stacey of Raymore, Missouri; brother-in-law, Ron Severson of Panama, Nebraska as well as six grandchildren.
