Eugene "Gene" Radford, age 71, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at his home in Clinton, Missouri. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Kelly Radford Memorial Scholarship Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Gene was born on December 5, 1953 in Clinton, Missouri. He was the son of Eugene F. Radford and Ruth (Halsey) Radford of Clinton, Missouri. Gene attended the schools of Clinton and graduated with the class of 1971.

Gene was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Michele Radford of Clinton, Missouri.

Survivors include his parents, Ruth and Gene Radford of Clinton, Missouri, his brother Rusty Radford of Boynton Beach, Florida, one daughter Rachael and one grandson Adrian, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gene worked in several different fields. At a young age he worked as a gas station attendant. Later in life as a Master bodyman at Fleetwood Chevrolet in Belton, Missouri and LensCrafters in Kansas City as the manager of a 4 state region. Gene loved his cars. His first car at 16 was a 62 Impala, "Big Red". This car turned into his passion of ¼ mile racing. He always bragged and showed the ETA Slip from KCIR of 12.18 seconds. His next cars included a blue 69 Camero and a 69 Camero SS/RS and many more over the years.

Gene will be extremely missed by his family and friends.
