Elsie Marie Winkler, age 91, formerly of Deepwater, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Granbury Care Center in Granbury, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Urich, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Elsie was proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Viola Kidwiler, 4 brothers, 1 sister, her two sons Ron and Boyce Smith.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Cheryl Lowry, Carol Angel, and Brenda Bandy, her sister Rosie Richardson, 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.

Elsie grew up on the home place outside of Clinton. She married Don Ryles and had her 3 girls, later she had Ron and Boyce. She moved to Urich to run the Winkler farm. She gardened, tended to the cows, geese, and a lot of chickens!

She spent her free time fishing, planting flowers and veggies, and spending time with her grandkids. She moved to Texas to spend her final days close to family and friends with her dog sassy at her side before retiring to Granbury Care Center.
