Elsie Mae Showman, age 89 years, passed away Tuesday, May 10,2016 at her home in Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, at 11:00am with visitation 10:00-11:00am, at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Interment will follow at Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Twin Lakes Hospice or Mount Calvary Apostolic Church and can be left in care of the funeral home. Elsie was born on August 29,1926, in Coal, Missouri to William and Thena (Lawson) Johnson. She loved her church, going for walks, visiting with family and friends, she was definitely "on the go" all the time.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two sons, Charles and Clayton McAnally, a brother, Raymond Johnson, and sister Ida Johnson.

Among survivors are her three daughters; Mary Ann Sizemore of Clinton, MO., Ethel Mae McAnally of Grove, OK., and Helen Francis McAnally of Chillicothe, MO., one brother; William Johnson of Clinton, MO., 5 grandchildren; Raymond (Debbie) Sizemore, Betty (William) Kronk, George Sizemore, Vina (Frank) Golightly, and Marilyn Burkett and fiancée Damien, 15 great-grandchildren, 12 great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
