Elsie Onwiler, age 85, of Sioux City, Iowa, formally of Calhoun, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at the Countryside Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 5, 2022 also at the Chapel. Inurnment to follow in Calhoun Cemetery, Calhoun, Missouri. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Calhoun United Methodist Church and can be left in care of the funeral home.

Elsie Onwiler was born on November 4, 1936 in Saint Joseph Missouri. She worked in Sedalia for the community school district for numerous years as an administration assistant. Elsie enjoyed being around family and friends.

Elsie was preceded in death by her Husband Dennis L. Onwiler and daughters Pamela Roberts and Mary Ellen Williamson.

She is survived by her son Dennis L. Onwiler Jr. Among survivors are, granddaughters Abigail and Shelby Onwiler, Elyssa and Emily Williamson, Megan Allen, and grandsons Jacob Williamson and Andrew Allen, also survived by Dewayne and JoAnn of Leeton Missouri.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral home, Clinton, Missouri.
