Elizabeth C. Thomas, age 82 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Saturday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society and may be left at the funeral home. Elizabeth was born near Fairfield, Missouri. She was a member of the Clinton V.F. W. Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Jack of the home; four sisters, Ann Dial of Jacksonville, Florida, Mary Lovan and husband, Ron of Bryan, Texas, Doris Hale of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Dorothy Alexander and husband, Dwight of Clinton; two grandchildren, Chance Duensing and wife Heather of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Carlye Howk and husband, Troy of Lee's Summit, Missouri and two great grandchildren, Caroline Duensing and Jack Henry Duensing; two step sons, Dale Eugene Thomas and Jack Steven Thomas of Independence, Missouri; one step daughter, Linda Fay Venable of Oak Grove, Missouri; five step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
