E.J. Mattson, age 36 years, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at his home. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.

E.J. was born February 11, 1980 in Marquette, Michigan the son of LeRoy Joseph and Cindy Mae (Watson) Mattson. He was born premature at 28 weeks. E.J. grew up in Michigan. He traveled and lived in many states, the most dear to him being Colorado. He enjoyed fishing, especially in Bennett Springs, MO. E.J. loved his family, and was the type of person that would do anything for anybody.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy (Watson) Mattson.

Survivors include his father, Leroy Mattson of the home, 3 siblings; Barry Mattson (Tammy) of Springfield, MO, Kimmie Reno (Chris) of Clinton, MO, and Lee Mattson, and 4 nephews; Jeremy, Chase, Wyatt, and Austin Reno.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
