Edwin A. G. Tally, age 95 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Clinton Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Clinton. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Saturday at the chapel. Edwin was born in St. Clair County, Missouri the son of George C. and Mina S. (Greenwell) Tally. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during W. W. II. He was united in marriage to Irene P. (Perkins) on April 22, 1944 in Rockford, Illinois. He worked in the office for Brinks for 30 plus years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mattie Wirsig and one brother, Glenister Tally.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Irene of the home and one sister, Fern Martin of Clinton as well as a number of nieces and nephews including Gene Wirsig, Dixie Atchison, MinaDell Lacy, Ruth Roth and Dale Cook.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton.
