Gene Singer, age 73 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel with burial following in Englewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Gene was a farmer and also worked for the Clinton Township. He was a member of the Henry County Historical Society, the Clinton Elks Lodge, as well as the Clinton Eagles Lodge. Gene was a member of the Northeast Baptist Church.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Thomas Singer and Myrtle Edna Cromer.

Among survivors includes his wife, Esther of the home; his daughter, Gina Couch and husband, Chris and grandsons, Tyler and Tanner, all of Allen, Texas and his sister, Vickie Batschelett of Clinton.
