Edna Joanne Jones, age 80 of Columbia, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery, Chilhowee, Missouri. Family suggests contribution to the Steps to Life, Wichita, Kansas and may be left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. Edna was born in Henry County, Missouri on March 30, 1933, the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Edna Lee (Blanton) Barnhart. She was a nurse and later a nursing home administrator. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett Jones and two sisters, Joyce King and Lois Barnhart.

She is survived by her son, Randall Jackson and wife, Gloria of Columbia, Missouri and two grandchildren, Rachael Jackson and Daniel Jackson.

Services have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton.
