Edith L. Wilson, age 69, of Clinton, Missouri passed away at her home Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Funeral services will be Monday, August 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends Sunday, August 9, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Vansant-Mills Chapel. Family suggests memorials to the homeless and may be left in the care of the funeral home. Edith was born in Urich, Missouri. She was a home maker. She worked for Clearfield Cheese Co. and Rival Manufacturing Co. before retiring. She was also a member of Save Our World Ministries Church, Clinton.

She is survived by two sons, Eugene Coones and Danny Coones both of the home; four daughters, Tina Webb of Harrisonville, Missouri, Mary Hayes of Clinton, Connie Peek of Ft. Worth, Texas and Brenda Vokolek of Clinton; one brother, Freddie L. Eliott of Clinton and one sister, Lilly M. Garrison of Kansas City, Missouri; as well as eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
