Edith Aline (Lightle) Newman age 91 of Blairstown Missouri went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 19, 2020 at the Lee's Summit Medical Center in Lee's Summit Missouri. Funeral services will be Friday September 25, 2020 at 11am at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home Clinton Missouri. Family will receive friends from 10 - 11am Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Blairstown Cemetery Blairstown, Missouri. Memorial contributions to the Blairstown Cemetery in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home.

Edith was born July 6, 1929 in Kansas City Kansas. Daughter of Samual A Lightle and Jesse M (Thomas) Lightle. Edith married Wayne A Newman and lived in Blairstown Missouri were they raised there ten children. She was a current resident of Holden Manor Care Center before her passing. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne E Newman, daughter in law Nola Newman and her three siblings Samuel R Lightle, Barbara A Skinner and Wayne O Lightle.

Edith is survived by her children Joyce and husband Steve Osborne, Martha and husband Ron Thomas, Walter Newman, Ruby and husband David Courtney, David Newman, Mary and husband Kevin Hocker, Becky and husband Chuck Rouse, Roger Newman, Jeff Newman, Kim and husband Matt Morrow, 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton Missouri.
