Edith Carlene Easter, age 92, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with interment in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society and they may be left in the care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home. Edith was born in Henry County, Missouri the daughter of James and Dena (Lowe) Wareham. She was a seamstress for Nagel's, and Brownsberger's clothing stores, as well as many other people, before retiring. She was active in The Christian Woman's Organization.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dena (Lowe) Wareham; two sons, Roy "Pole" Easter and Lawrence "Butch" Easter; two sisters and one brother.

Edith is survived by one son, Robert Easter of Blairstown, Missouri; two daughters, Joyce Stratton and husband Willis of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and Sandra Randall of Clinton, Missouri; one brother, Jim Wareham of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Yvonne Kampe of Windsor, Missouri; as well as sixteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
