Edith Mae Compton's Obituary
Edith Mae Compton, age 92 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Westwood Nursing Center, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 26, 2007 at Floral Hills Chapel, Raytown, Missouri with burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Monday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Blue Ridge Blvd. Methodist Church, Raytown, Missouri.
Edith was born in Orrick, Misssouri. She was married to Owen Compton who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Blvd. United Methodist Church, Raytown, Missouri, the P. E. O. Sisterhood, the Independence Junior Service League and the Kansas City Bridge Association.
She is survived by one son, Mike Compton of Clinton, Missouri and one granddaughter, Kerri Ann Hartzell of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
