Edith I. Colby, age 91 years, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehab Center, Clinton, Missouri.  Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at the LaDue Christian Church, Clinton, Missouri.  Fond memories and condolences can be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Edith was born November 28, 1925 in Manigrove, Nebraska the daughter of Garnet and Nellie (Callingwood) Stone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Colby, daughter Nola Newman, granddaughter Rebecca (Becky) King, and her siblings.

Survivors include her children; Daniel Coby of Springfield, Missouri, Ted Colby of Apache Junction, Arizona, Georgia King of LaDue, Missouri, and Rhonda DeMoss of Glendale, Arizona, as well as 9 grandchildren; Anthony, Joshua, Andrew, Travis, Amos, Jessica, Stephanie, Victoria, and Marlena, her caregiver William Vaughn, as well as numerous other family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
