Earl W. "Shorty" Bramell, age 79 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM., Monday at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 P.M. Sunday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Deepwater Christian Church and may be left at the funeral home.

Earl was born in Clinton, Missouri. He worked for United Telephone for 32 years. He was a member of the Deepwater Christian Church and was a 50 years member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge No. 548, A.F. & A.M.

Earl is survived by his wife, Helen of the home; one daughter, Glenda Sue Sims and husband, Bill of Hutchinson, Kansas; three grandchildren, Cottan Sims of Manhattan, Kansas, Corey Sims of Topeka, Kansas and Kelly Sims of Morhange, France as well as three sister-in-laws, Evelyn Bramell and Irma Jean Bramell both of Clinton, Missouri and Norma Bramell of Independence, Missouri.
