Ethel Louise Grasher,  age 96 of Urich, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at her home in Urich, Missouri.

While most of you knew her as Louise, we knew her as "Mom", "Grandma" and "Great Grandma". She left us while peacefully sleeping on the morning of November 27th, the day after Thanksgiving. She leaves behind 2 daughters (Donna Grasher and Peggy Halloran), 1 grandson (Shann Bossaller), and 1 great grandson (Rhyese Wilson Bossaller).

Born on July 28, 1924 in Shawnee Mound, Missouri to Albert and Bertha Wilson, she later married Lyle Grasher and helped build the family farm business while living at the same home address for 73 years in Urich, Missouri.

Louise loved her family and pets very much and possessed many fantastic qualities including being creative, kind hard working, well organized and with a great sense of humor. She also enjoyed cooking as well as many outdoor and nature activities that included gardening, yard work, and traveling.

Later in life she fostered her creative ability by painting and decorating birdhouses. She gave many of them away, essentially creating a "Birdhouse Club" with members in multiple states including Mississippi, Texas, Kansas, and Missouri. She would also donate her birdhouse creations to schools for fundraising projects to help support special needs students.

Louise led a full life with many experiences and her family loved her dearly. While she will be missed by many creating a strong sense of loss, she will also be eternally loved and fondly remembered. Memories of her laughter and beautiful smile, her stories and zest for life, and her unconditional love and support of family will always be deeply cherished. Through these wonderful memories, she will live on.

She requested cremation with no funeral. No flowers are requested and instead, please direct those funds as donations to the Clinton Animal Shelter.

A small memorial at her home will occur at a later time.
