E. Laverne Angle, age 86 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Monday July 20, 2009 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. Funeral services will be Friday, July 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Clinton, Missouri with burial in the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the Church.

Laverne was born in Henry County, Missouri. She was married to Robert S. Angle, who preceded her in death on September 26, 2006. She was a member of the Clinton Study Club, D.A.R., Henry County Museum and The First Presbyterian Church, Clinton.

Laverne was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna Thompson; her husband, Robert S. Angle; one daughter, Jennifer Angle and an infant son, William Fletcher Angle.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Rein and husband Marlin of Clinton, Missouri; two sisters, Elizabeth Huey of Marshall, Missouri and Donna Keener of Tulsa, Oklahoma; as well as one granddaughter, Abby Zavos and husband Chuck of Liberty, Missouri and three great-grandchildren, Eli and Amara Phillips and Gram Zavos.
