Dwight Sanders, age 78, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Adair Village in Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Clinton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial to follow in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be left to the American Cancer Society or the Clinton Animal Shelter and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Dwight Sanders was born in California on April 3, 1947 to Raymond Sanders and Mamie Young.

Dwight married the love of his life Shelly (Jarvis) Sanders in October of 1991 and later in 1992 had an Eternal Marriage Ceremony at the Dallas Texas Temple-LDS Church. They were blessed with one son Jason; he was the light of their life.

Dwight worked as a custodian at the LDS Church in Clinton and a custodian at UCM in Warrensburg for 11 years. Dwight lived a simple life and had a deep understanding of our lord Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his wife Shelly and his parents.

Dwight is survived by his son Jason Sanders of Clinton, Missouri.
