Dortha G. Wolford, age 80 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Clinton Memory Gardens Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society and may be left at the funeral home.

Dortha was born in Clinton, Missouri. She worked for Unitog for 30 years in the embroidery department. She was a member of the Eagles.

She is survived by her husband, William of the home; one daughter, Ileene McQuitty and husband, Richard of Chilhowee, Missouri; one son, Galen Carter and wife, Nancy of Clinton, Missouri; four step daughters, Karen Crowder and husband, Danny of Deepwater, Missouri, Deborah Creach of Clinton, Missouri, Tammy Patterson and husband, Scott of Doe Run, Georgia and Denise Krewson and husband, Jerry of Leeton, Missouri; one sister, Mildred Wilson and husband, Harold of Overland Park, Kansas as well as fifteen grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
