Dortha I. Harrison, age 87 of Denver, Colorado (formerly of the Mt. Zion Community) passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Rose Medical Center, Denver, Colorado. Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Deepwater, Missouri. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 P.M. Interment will be in Mt. Dortha was born May 19, 1925 in Mt. Zion, Missouri the daughter of Claude and Ruby Pearl (Snyder) Greenwell.

She worked as a teacher, bank teller, bookkeeper, and a social worker. Dortha was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke Centers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Harrison, her parents, sister Claudia Barnes, and an infant brother.

Surviving her is a daughter, Michelle Harrison of Denver, Colorado.
