Dorothy L. Oswald, age 83, of Clinton died Monday, January 24, 2011 at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare, Clinton. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 28, 2011 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri, with inurnment in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 P.M. prior to the service also at the Chapel. Dorothy was a florist at Pheiffer's Flowers in Sedalia, Missouri. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Warsaw, Missouri. Dorothy lived life and embraced each and every moment with boundless energy. She loved people, laughing, cooking, sewing, gardening, fishing and her kitties. Her greatest joy in life was her family, her children and grandchildren. She spent every day of her life finding ways to show her love. Dorothy, our precious Nannie, has given us all God's most blessed gift. She has taught us the true meaning of living life is sharing love...

Among survivors are her husband Jerome Oswald of the home; two daughters Beverly Kohzadi, Clinton and April Lynn Herrett, Panama City Beach, Florida; and a son Mark Oswald, Shawnee, Kansas; and six grandchildren, Abraham, Azar, Nicolas, Kelsey, Connor, and Chase.
