Dora J. Smith, age 99 years, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Washington Christian Village, Washington, Illinois. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Dora was born July 26, 1915 in Springfield, Missouri the daughter of Ashley and Mable (Witty) Park. She was a long time resident of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Smith ; two brothers, Ashley D. and Clifford Park; one daughter, Donna; and a grandson, Kenneth.

She is survived by her son, Larry Ferguson (Shirley) of East Peoria, Illinois, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
