Donna Sue Kissee of Clinton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 16th, 2021 at The Arbors at Glendale Gardens in Clinton, Missouri at the age of 80 with her husband of 64 years by her side.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 25th, 2021 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri. Masks are preferred by the family. Donna loved to bowl, work in her flowerbeds, spend time playing cards with her card club girlfriends, travel, was an incredible water skier back in the day (would do tricks like getting on shoulders and whatnot), owned a donut shop. She was incredibly selfless, always concerned about others and keeping her family happy and healthy. She stayed home to raise her children and was an incredible cook.

Carl and Donna were snowbirds for the last 25+ years, spending most of their winters in Yuma, AZ. She also survived triple by-pass surgery several years ago.

*Fun story of the way my mom and dad met...My mom and a girlfriend drove over to Miller, MO from Mt. Vernon and drove down the main street past the pool hall honking their horn.  They drove to the end of the street and turned around to come back and all the guys in the pool hall had come out to see who was honking.  My dad was in that group of guys and their story began that day.  They dated for a few years and then eloped to Oklahoma without telling their families her senior year in HS. I asked my dad for a word to describe my mom and he immediately said that she was the most beautiful woman he's ever known.

She is survived by: her husband; Carl Kissee, her children; Keith Kissee and wife Claudia, Carla Sole, her grandchildren; Alix Kissee, Sydney Kissee, Cooper Sole, Colton Sole, and her great grandchild; Jordyn Kissee
