Donna J. Cruse, age 78, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital-North Kansas City, MO. Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10AM at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. The service will be live streamed on the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home facebook page. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and may be mailed to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, 314 W. Jefferson St., Clinton, MO 64735. Donna was born July, 27th, 1941 in LaDue, Missouri to her parents Benjamin Earl Dody Sr, and Hazel Louiza Brubaker Dody. She worked until retirement as a  administrative assistant for the Hardcross Chemical Company in Kansas City, Kansas. Donna was a member of the Hermitage Church of Christ. She loved to going antiquing was a collector of stuff and also loved crafts, especially painting. Donna loved to play bingo until her health would not allow.

Donna is survived by her three daughters, Connie Delgado, of Urbana, Missouri, Ronda Devore of Kansas City, Missouri and Kimberly Russell and companion Fran Beniot of Gladstone, Missouri. She also survived by her grandchildren Terry Huskey, Dustin Devore, Shawn Cox, Deric Beniot, Denny Delgado, Andrew Cox, Dody Devore, Adora Russell, Damon Delgado, and Destini Delgado. Donna has ten great-grandchildren and one on the way. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and friends and family.
