Delbert Uren, 84 of Deepwater, Missouri passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Appleton City Manor, Appleton City, Missouri. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Delbert will be lovingly remembered by sons Clifford and Douglas Uren of Clinton, Missouri, daughters Shelly Smith and husband Chris of Sibley, Missouri, Carol Hammett and husband Wayne of Inman, South Carolina, Vicki Smith and Christi Kirtley of Kansas City, Missouri, along with 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and Sophie his faithful pup who stayed by his side throughout his illness. Dad was born on November 8, 1934 in Hebron, Nebraska to Clifford Uren and Leora Bloyd. He graduated high school in the 8th grade and went on to become a Mechanical Engineer. He loved to hunt elk and deer and also fish for bass and crappie. He loved to share his knowledge with his children and grandchildren passing along his love of the outdoors to a new generation. A celebration of life will be private with family and friends at a later date.
