Debra D. Cooper, age 53 years, of Calhoun, Missouri passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Debra Cooper Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Debra was born July 24, 1961 in Clinton, Missouri the daughter of Robert and Wanda Kay (McQueen) Hodges. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching wrestling with her family.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents; an aunt, Ginger Kirby; two uncles, Butch Kirby and LeRay Hart; and a nephew, Bill Albin.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Cooper of the home; two sons, Joseph Vansel II (Feleina)of the home. and Patrick Keene of Dugger, IN; two daughters, Jennifer Drake (Lee) of Osceola, Missouri and Catherine Blevins (Eric) of Dugger, IN ; one brother, Robert Hodges of Windsor, Missouri; three sisters, Linda Albin (Buster) of Hartwell, Missouri, Alice Hodges of Springfield, Missouri, and Audra Leonard (John) of Roscoe, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Raven, David, Ashley, and Amber, and numerous nieces and nephews.
