Deanna Holloway, 74 passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Kansas City Hospice House, KC, MO. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com . Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri. Interment will follow at Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the KC Hospice House and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Deanna Holloway passed away May 5, 2019, at the Kansas City Hospice House. She was born in Long Beach, California, on May 30, 1944, to R. Harold and H. Maxine (Duke) Ward of Blairstown, Missouri.

Deanna was graduated from Chilhowee High School, Chilhowee, Missouri in 1962 and on September 16, 1962 married Jerald Dale Holloway of Chilhowee. She and Jerry lived most of their married life in Clinton, Missouri where Deanna worked in secretarial positions at Clearfield Cheese Company and the Production Credit Association. She was Administrative Assistant to Dr. Gary Deskins, Superintendent of Schools, Clinton School District. Deanna was a teller and worked in the loan department at First National Bank of Clinton. She worked in the Henry County Circuit Clerk's Office with the Child Support Enforcement Program and also worked in the Henry County Collector/Treasurer's Office.

Deanna was a former member of the Junior Enthusiasts Club of Clinton. She supported her children's involvement in 4-H and served as a project leader. Deanna was an active member of the Christian Church of Clinton for many years, encouraging her children's involvement in all youth activities and supporting church and community service activities, spending many hours in the church kitchen.

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Jerry in 2005. She is survived by her son, Timothy Dale Holloway of Clinton, Lori Leann Abiecunas and husband Jason of Kansas City, Missouri. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Heather Alexis (Holloway) Clayton, Kansas City, Missouri, and Ella Leann Abiecunas; one sister, Chris Lee Ward, Portland, Oregon; sister-in-law Donna (Holloway) Miers, Blairstown, as well as a niece and nephews.
