David Wilson went peacefully home to be with our Father Wednesday, April 17, 2013. He was 68 years old. A Memorial visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the David Wilson memorial fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Fond memories may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.
David was born February 10, 1945 in Clinton, MO. He worked many years for the Railroad and retired from Westpoint Construction. David was a simple man who loved all things hunting, everyone of his kids, and of course the "occasional drink". He will be deeply missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over forty years, Edith Wilson.
He is survived by his four daughters, Connie Peek and husband Randy, Brenda Vokolek and husband Rodney, Tina Webb, and Mary Hayes; his two sons, Danny and Eugene Coones. He also leaves behind 10 grandkids and several great grandchildren.
Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk as if I were beside you, for I am not far. For what we have once enjoyed we can't ever lose. To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. David Wilson, you shall never be forgotten. In our hearts you will always remain. Always shining down and watching over us from up above. Until we meet again at Heaven's Gates.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home.
