David was born on April 10, 1960 at Foster Memorial Hospital in Ventura County, California to Mary L. Fleagel and Earl H. Crowell.  He was the youngest of 2 sons.  When he was a baby the family moved to Kansas City where they lived until deciding to return to California when David was just 10 years old.

After high school David worked at Tri-County Salvage for 12 years.

In 1990 David made the decision to move back to Missouri.  That is when he met the love of his life, Tammy.  They wed on February 9, 1991.

He worked at Schilby Automotive in Sedalia MO for 18 years as an alignment technician.  In March of 2013 he started working at Clark Tire in Versailles MO

David was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather (pop-pop).  He loved his life and his family.  He was a honest, forgiving, loving and honorable man that worked so very hard for his family.  He is and always will be deeply loved, cherished, greatly missed but most of all never forgotten, for he lives forever in the hearts of everyone he knew.

He is proceeded in death by his father Earl, his mother Mary and his brother Don.

He leaves behind his wife, Tammy Crowell.  His four children: Son Christopher Crowell - 34 of Edward's Missouri (Tiffany Wingender).  Son Jason Crowell - 31 of Clinton Missouri (Tiffani Crowell).  Son Joshua Fisher - 29 of Clinton Missouri (Hannah Fisher)  Daughter Kimberly Burkhamer - 26 of Climax Springs (Justin Burkhamer).  11 grandchildren: Austin -10, River - 7, Rylee -7, Lola - 6, Keegan - 5, Haylee - 3, Galen - 3, Conner - 2, Emmalee - 7 months, Kyle 7 months, and baby Burkhamer on the way.

A Celebration of David's Life will be on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2pm at the Community Building in Edwards, MO.
