Daniel G. Nichols, age 48, of Clinton, Missouri died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Daniel Nichols Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Daniel was born September 19, 1965 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Hershel and Nancy (Snelling) Nichols. He graduated from Clinton High School and went to work as a self-employed painter. Next to his baby girl Tara, Danny's greatest loves were hunting, fishing and pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Nancy, and one brother, Duane Nichols.

Survivors include one daughter, Tara Nichols of Clinton, Missouri; one sister, Diane Jack (T.J.) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, two nieces; Carley and Kierstin Nichols, and two nephews; Lukas and Tyler Jack.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
