Daniel Ray Cole, age 63, of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 17, 2009. Memorial services will be Monday, December 21, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Monday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to Johnson County Hospice or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee and may be left at the funeral home. Daniel was born in Hominy, Oklahoma. He was a career serviceman serving in the U. S. Air Force. After retiring he was a farmer and cattleman. He volunteered for the Heritage Days in Waraw, Missouri and loved to hunt and fish.

Among survivors include his wife, Linda, of the home; two sons, Jerry Daniel Cole of St. Joseph, Missouri and Isaac S. Cole of Grain Valley, Missouri and one daughter, Cynthia Ann Page of Smithville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jessica Hays, Lindsay Hays, Douglas Hays, Meredith Cole and Samuel Cole; three brothers, Leonard Cole of Pollock, Texas, Allen Cole of Wichita Falls, Texas and Paul Cole of Portland, Oregon and one sister, Judy Bernard of Bazoria, Texas.
