Cynthia Lawrie Cummins, age 74 passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow in the Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri.

Cynthia "Lawrie" Cummins was born on December 5, 1949, and passed away just shy of her 75th birthday.

Lawrie enjoyed a fulfilling career selling Mary Kay cosmetics, where she built lasting relationships and found joy in helping others feel their best. She loved spending time with her family and was often found tending to her plants, finding peace and purpose in their care.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Cynthia Culpepper and BJ Woodside.

Lawrie is survived by her brothers, Lee Baker and Steven Baker; her Aunt Cecilia Tinkler; her son Harley Cummins and his wife Kelly; her daughter Sheila Strickland; and her cherished grandchildren: Austin Strickland, Amanda Strickland and her husband Steven James, Macie Cummins, Miles Cummins, and Beth Strickland. Lawrie also leaves behind great-grandchildren Jaythan Strickland , Clark and Maverick James, all of whom she adored.

Lawrie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
