Cornelia Magdaline Fowler passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Vitas Innovative Hospice, Kansas City, Missouri. She was 87 years old. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Visitation will be Monday, August 13, 2012 from 6:00-7:30 P.M., also at the Chapel. Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Cornelia was a homemaker. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Cornelia was preceded in death by her parents; David and Lillian (Parker) Grice, two brothers; Odel and Charlie Grice, one grandson,and great-grandson, Dustin Cunningham.

She is survived by her husband Elvin Fowler of the home, one son, Jim Fowler and wife Connie of Clinton, Missouri, three daughters; Jean Dennis of Clinton, Missouri, Joyce Hotelling and husband Bill of Harlingen, Texas, and Carolyn Routon and husband Terry of Clinton, Missouri, one brother, Gerald Grice and wife Margaret of Albertville, Alabama, one sister, Cleon Jackson of Newport News, Virginia, 14 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
