Connie May Moritz, age 59 of Calhoun, Missouri passed away Monday, June 15, 2009 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 19, 2009 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Calhoun Cemetery, Calhoun, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Connie was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked for Rival Manufacturing in Clinton for a number of years before they closed down. She is a member of the Calhoun Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Moritz; her children, Tina Redding and husband, Kevin, Stacie Phillips and husband, Ron and her son, Brandon Moritz and his wife, Jenifer, all of Calhoun, Missouri; six grandchildren, Rick and his wife, Feleina, Stephanie, Travis, Andy, Kendra and Colton; her brother, Derrel Shanks and wife, Kathy of Clinton and her two sisters, Dottie Smith and husband, Nelson of Calhoun and Bonnie Harrelson of Forsyth, Montana as well as a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
