Clinton Richard "Dick" Haynes, age 84 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the First Presbyterian Church, Clinton and may be left at the funeral home. Dick was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corp. He was a rural mail carrier for the U. S. Postal Service. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Clinton.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine of the home; three sons, Mike Haynes and wife, Sandy of Raymore, Missouri, Stoner Haynes and wife, Linda of Clinton and Dr. Joe Haynes and wife, Eileen of Ames, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Cole Haynes, Clint Haynes, Robert Haynes, Jacob Haynes, Jessica Haynes, Ashley Haynes, Michael Haynes and Laura Haynes and two great grandsons, Brandon Haynes and William Haynes.
