Christopher Lee Groom, age 41, of Kansas City, Missouri, Missouri, passed away, Thursday, August 17, 2023 at his home. Christopher's wishes were to be cremated. Inurnment with military honors will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.

Christopher Groom was born on March 4, 1982 in Kansas City, Missouri to Russell Groom Sr. and Violet Jean Noe.

Christopher joined the US Marines after high school and spent some time in Iraq. He enjoyed reading books, roller coasters, cooking, but most of all he loved his daughter Isabelle.

He is survived by his wife Lizzie Herbert, his daughter, Isabelle Groom, mother, Violet J. Noe, his brother Russel D Groom Jr., two aunts, Linda Zucco and Mary Bryant, two uncles, Robert Noe, and Jewel Groom, nieces, Eliza and Elissa Groom, and nephew, Donovan Groom.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
