Christopher S. Barnhart, age 52 passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Centerpoint Hospital, Independence, Missouri. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to the Chris Barnhart Educational Fund for his Grandchildren and may be left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton.

Chris was a farm laborer. He was a member of Garland Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Cristin "Butch" Barnhart and Chance Barnhart; his parents, Carl and Beverly Barnhart, and his companion Charlotte Stump all of Clinton; his sister, Carol DeVette of St. Charles, Missouri; four grandchildren Skylar Berg, Landon Berg, Lexi Barnhart and Brody Barnhart; and nephews Lance Wagoner and Nick McLaughlin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
