Chester (Bob) Robert Bullard was born November 22, 1942 to Robert Evan Bullard and Esther Nellie (Boyt) in Alexandria, LA.  He grew up outside of Carlinville, Il the oldest of ten.  He accepted the Lord at an early age. He graduated from Skyline high school in Cross Timbers, Mo and soon married his sweetheart Gerry Diane (Crouch) in 1961.  To this union two sons were born, Michael Dean and Jeffrey DeWayne.  They made a home in Peculiar Mo where Bob was a baseball coach to both boys and taught Sunday school at First Baptist in Raymore.

He began his career at General Motors-Fairfax in 1962 working there for 38 years where he was well respected team leader.

After Gerry passed away in 1984, he married Linda Sue (Lawler) in January 1989.  She brought to two teenage daughters into his life.

Bob and Linda enjoyed traveling with some of their favorites being St Croix VI and Alaska.  Bob loved riding his ATVs and taking them into the mountains where one adventure ended in a stay in the hospital and broken ribs.  He enjoyed woodworking in his shop and had numerous projects from cedar chests, book cases, toolboxes to a baby cradle for his great grandson.  He was the family go-to mechanic teaching his kids and grandkids basic vehicle maintenance and much, much more.  He also enjoyed his second career as an apprentice knife smith with his dear friend Bill Davis.  After full retirement, they moved to Clinton Mo where he enjoyed his daily breakfast at 109, coffee at Hardees and his prayer meetings with the men from First Baptist Church.  Bob and Lindy were members of First Baptist in Clinton where they went on several mission trips and enjoyed the many friends made there.  He loved his church and the family made there.  Bobs greatest joy was his grandsons.  Working on cars with Austin and Conner, riding ATVs with Garrett or watching Tucker and Gunner playing in his shop.  Those boys could do no wrong.  Bob and Garrett shared a special bond spending many vacation and summers together.

Bob went into the arms of Jesus on August 17, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Gerry, brother Bill Bullard and sister Betty Bullard.  He is survived by his wife Linda, children Mike (Ann) Bullard, Jeff (Shirley) Bullard, Candy Yaryan and Kim (Shane) Wilgus.  Siblings Juanita (John) Carl, Carolyn (Raymond) Liverzani, Dick (Windy) Bullard, Judy (Gary) Workman, Susan (Steve) Dirksmeier, Bonnie (Larry) Blakesley, John (Lisa) Bullard.  Grandchildren Austin (Ashtin) Bullard, Conner, and Brenden Bullard, Garrett Yaryan, Damon, McKinzie, Tucker and gunner Wilgus.  Numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and family and friends.  He will be greatly missed.

Bob was a soft-spoken man but made it a point to get to know the people in his life.  We love him and will miss him beyond measure.
