Charlotte A. Everett age 67 of Tightwad, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at her home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri with burial in the Raymore City Cemetery, Raymore, Missouri following a 1:00 P.M. Graveside Service. Family will receive friends Friday, June 5, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Vansant-Mills Chapel. Charlotte was born in Henry County, Missouri. She was an entertainer for many years before marrying Fred Albert Everett, who preceded her in death in January of 1987. She worked for the Henry County Health Department for eleven years before retiring in 2007. She was a volunteer at the Samaritan Center.

Charlotte created Tightwad Pottery and was a "Best of Missouri Hands" Artisan. She enjoyed keeping her hands in clay. She also loved to rock hunt, play cards, garden, camp, canoe, dance and listen to blues music.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Mildred Parks; her husband, Fred Everett and a brother, Alvin "Babe" Parks.

She is survived by her best friend Carla Hill and daughter Jessica; Her daughter, Angela Bowlin and husband, Robert; her son, Paul Eager; step-sons, David Everett, Dennis Everett, Fred Everett, Jr., and Ed Everett and wife, Chris; sisters, Marian Winkel and husband Pat, Lois Marshall and Hazel Blomert; brother, Eugene Parks and wife Judy; grandsons, Jeriah Eager and Michael Bowlin and wife Nichole; as well as many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and many other friends and relatives.
