Charles Wallace, age 83, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 at his home in Appleton City, Missouri after a long bout with Congestive Heart Failure and Dementia. Charles Edward Wallace (Chuck) was born on October 16, 1940, the son of Charles W and Bernice V Wallace.

Chuck went to school and grew up in the Kansas City, Kansas area and his favorite pastime was fishing and playing cards. He also had a passion for buying and restoring old cars as well. His favorite actor was John Wayne and he watched all of his movies as much as he could.

Chuck was a truck driver by trade for many years and a member of Central States Teamsters. He retired in 2008 as a Supervisor for the Johnson County Sheriff's Department where he had worked for 15 years.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wanda L Wallace, his son, Charles M Wallace and his daughter, Rhonda L Kyle, his sister, Jeannie Bleam, and brother, Richard Wallace, and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
