Charles L. Motley, age 77, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Golden Living Center - Westwood in Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Parks Chapel Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the chapel. Charles was born in Monagaw Springs, Missouri, the son of Amos and Stella (Lemmon) Motley. He worked for Diehl Company for over 50 years retiring in l990.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy of the home; his sons, Michael Motley of Raytown, Missouri, Rick Motley of Ballard, Missouri and Michael Morse of Joplin, Missouri; his daughters, Kay Johnson of Springfield, Missouri and Stella Bley of Montrose, Missouri; one sister, Ada Snider of North Kansas City, Missouri as well as 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
