Charles E. "Chuck" Emerson, age 88, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Golden Living Center-Westwood, Clinton. Chuck's wishes were to be cremated. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri.

Chuck was born on a farm outside Lamar, Iowa the son of Albert Ross and Sadie Emerson. They preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his wife Alyce, granddaughter, Jennie Lightfoot and a number of siblings.

Survivors include two sons Frankie and wife Mary Emerson, Clinton, Missouri, and Larry Dean Emerson and wife Linda, Highland Plains, Colorado; one daughter Kay Bellman, Labelle, Florida; six grandchildren, Scott Emerson, Angie Lakers, Eddie Lightfoot, Bobby Lightfoot, Chance Emerson, and Gracie Emerson; five great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
