Charles R. Braun, age 82 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, January 19, 2006 at the Missouri Veterans Home, Warrensburg, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to Twin Lakes Hospice and may be left at the funeral home.

Charles served in W. W. II in the Army. He was married to Wilma Alice Bath Braun who preceded hin in death on May 4, 1990. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Golden Gate Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Randy Braun of Clinton; four daughters, Linda Cauthon and husband, Les, Peggy McCartney and husband, Francis; Vickie Greufe and husband, Mike, all of Clinton and Susan Braun of Carthage, Missouri; two sisters, Esther Hargrave and husband, Leon and Margaret Parks and husband, Sam, all of Clinton as well as nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
