Carl F. "Fred" Braun, age 63, Clinton, Missouri passed away Tuesday August 3, 2010 at his home. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at the United Methodist Church, Clinton, Missouri. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the Church. Family suggests memorial contributions to Twin Lakes Hospice or Clinton United Methodist Church and they may be left in care of the funeral home. Fred was born in Clinton, Missouri, the son of Harding C. and Thelma Maxine (Bath) Braun. He was married to Susan (Spangler) Braun. He was a farmer. He attended the Clinton United Methodist Church.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, of the home; two sons, Matthew Braun of Olathe, Kansas and Joshua Braun of Calhoun, Missouri; one brother, Harding Lee Braun and wife Mary Alice of Clinton; two brothers-in-law, Taylor Spangler of Locust Grove, Georgia and Dudley Spangler and wife Glenda of Shanghai, China; as well as his constant companion and best friend Buddy.
