Cecil James, age 78, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehab Center in Clinton, Missouri. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.

Cecil Byron James was born on October 08, 1946 in Jefferson Texas, the son of Fitchue James and Dorothy Belle (Watson) James.

Cecil worked at Quality Chevrolet, Thorobred Chevrolet, Joe Self Chevrolet as an Assistant parts manager. His most recent work place was Donavon Prestige Pontiac Cadillac, where he worked for 30 years before retiring from there.

He loved working on cars, working in the yard and going camping. He also loved spending time with the family at their big family barbecues.

Survivors include his wife Paula Jean James, his sons; Jeremy James, Jeff James, Joey James, Paul James, and his daughters; Leah and Nikki James, along with 17 grandkids and 9 great grandkids.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
