Cecil E. Gray, age 88, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at The Arbors of Glendale Gardens, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Clinton United Methodist Church, Clinton, Missouri with interment in Carpenter Cemetery, Chilhowee, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Family suggests memorial contributions to Twin Lakes Hospice, Carpenter Cemetery or Clinton United Methodist Church and may be left at funeral home. Cecil served in the U. S. Navy. He was a farmer. He was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church. He was married to Martha Louise (McQuitty) Gray who preceded him in death on April 4, 2010.

Survivors include his son, Pat Gray and wife, Pam of Clinton; his daughter, Jane Bailey and husband, Charles of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; his sister, Sarah Frances Sherwood of Marshall, Missouri; ten grandchildren; Shandra Gray, Brett Gray and wife, Tina, Megan Borders and husband, Anthony, Mike Bailey and wife, Christy, Jill Sibley and husband, Sam, Jeffrey Bailey, Andrew Bailey, Justin Summers, Sonja Summers, and Michael Munsch and wife, Rachel as well as eleven great-grandchildren.
