Cathy Shook, age 76, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor (C.A.R.E.) and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Catherine Bernadine Shook was born on November 16, 1948 to Vancil and Bernadine Goth in Clinton, Missouri. She was the eldest of seven children.

Cathy's family was very important to her, she loved them unconditionally and she was always one to make sure she checked in if she didn't hear from you. She also loved her fur babies and was very attached to them over the years as well. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her husband Robert Shook, parents Vancil and Bernadine Goth, her brother Jerry Goth, and two brother-in-laws Mike Simmons, and Rex Smith.

Survivors include her children; Ruana (Mark) Gladfelter, Vance Shook, Michelle (Larry ) Sanders, and Corinda Guerra (Brian), ten grandchildren; Alex Shook, Katlyn Gladfelter (Aidin), Alyssa Gladfelter, Xander Hills, Sarah Redburn (Jess), Allanah Hills, Ian Hills, David Levering, Andy Guerra, and Ryan Guerra, and one great grandchild Alara Hinkle, six siblings; Darrel (Rose) Goth, Van (Sharon) Goth, Kay Goth, Norma Simmons, Doris Smith, and Karen (Gary) Baker, along with numerous family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
