Carolyn Ann Gillette, age 74, of Lowry City, Missouri, passed away peaceably on December 8, 2025, surrounded by her partner, Johnny Waters, and her precious pets. Services will be held at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 9977 SE. Highway U in Deepwater, MO. 64740 on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

Born on April 2, 1951, to Yvonne Perrotta and Howard Stegall, Carolyn was a beacon of strength and kindness throughout her life.

Carolyn is survived by her life parter, Johnny, and sister Diana Donahue (Gene), and brothers Eugene Stegall, Craig Perrotta (Janis), and Bryan Perrotta. She was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie, her sister Linda, brothers Clifford Stegall and Brad Perrotta, grandmother Clara Foster, and daughter Tiffany Auxier.

Carolyn lived her young life as a free spirit, and her lifelong love and compassion for animals—especially those that she found on the side of the road--were appreciated by everyone who knew her. And her skill as a generous baker was also legendary, as her many friends and family will readily agree.

Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in her roles as daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, and she will be dearly missed by all of us who were fortunate to be graced by her love.
